We would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful time over the holidays and are looking forward to the year ahead.
December passed in a whirlwind of festive fun! Well done to all the children who took part in the Christmas performance, you all made such an effort with costumes and rehearsing your parts. It was very enjoyable to watch you all beam.
We would like to say a really massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make Santa’s tour of the village such a success, in particular to John Trickett, Sean, Matt, Alice and the team at Berrybrook Garage, to Coffee on the Corner and to all who supported this amazing community event. Thanks also to everyone who collected donations, and to all the parents, carers, children, staff and committee, and local residents who came out in force on the evening – the total collected was £172.60!
Huge thanks also to everyone who came to the Christmas Bazaar. We are really grateful to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes, to the lovely volunteers who gave up their time to help on the day, and to the whole community for supporting us – we couldn’t do it without each and every one of you! Funds raised (amount tbc!) will go towards replacing some of our outdoor equipment and enhancing our indoor learning resources.
We are very sad to say goodbye to one our beloved pink ladies, Steph Pollard. Steph has been an invaluable member of staff and is very much loved by all of the children and her colleagues. All will sorely miss her beaming smile and bubbly personality. We wish her every success in her new adventure.
